My Easy Tuna Casserole Recipe

Today I will share my tuna casserole recipe with you. It's really easy and quick to prepare and just perfect if you expect guests. Moreover, the casserole is really healthy! The preparation takes about 40 minutes. Dish for 6-8 persons. Here we go!










You need:

300 g penne or fusilli pasta
oil olive
4 garlic cloves
120 g champignons
1 red paprika
400 g tuna in its own juice/or water
2 tbsp of tomato paste
1 tsp of oregano
salt, pepper
2 tbsp of flour
500 ml milk
4 tomatoes
4 tbsp of crumbs
50 g butter
50 g of grated parmesan cheese



Check if you have all needed ingredients:



Steps:

1. Cook pasta al dente
2. Chop and fry vegetables: garlic, paprika and champignons
3. Oil your casserole dish and insert half pasta inside
4. Add tuna, salt, pepper, oregano and tomato paste into frying vegetables
5. Put everything in the casserole dish and cover it with the rest of pasta

Prepare sauce:

1. Melt butter with flour 
2. Add milk gradually 
3. Add salt&pepper
4. Cook constantly blending cook stirring constantly until the sauce thickens
5. Pour the casserole with the sauce.
6. Put tomato slices on top.
7. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs
8. Bake for 40 minutes at 200 degrees

NOTE! I've prepared the casserole for today's dinner. The picture on the top presents exactly my casserole already taken out of the oven. It smells fantastic, and it's really fine dish. My 5-year old daughter loves it!
